Responsibility of the job holder:
The QPL (Quality Project Leader) is responsible for achieving the target product field quality (Field Call Rate), for implementing a Product Quality Management Process and for providing early indicators for product quality). He/she covers the whole product life cycle and relating to all functional disciplines (MKT, development, production, purchasing, sales and customer care) and this until formal transfer of the product to the Quality Maintenance organization at the end of the project. Include but not limit
? Translate requirements into CTQ’s and manage the CTQ flow down
? Validate the CTQ’s through efficient test plans and use of statistical tools (where applicable)
? Make product certification available
? Manage risks through all design phases until PE using FMEA methodology
? Prevent incidents by ensuring robust design
? Drive safe launch/field tests (up to beta testing) with active customer involvement
? Ensure the quality of milestone decisions and escalates when quality of the product/service is at risk
? Close feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding the learnings into new design rules, QTP’s, FMEA’s.
Main tasks of the job holder:
Define and drive execution of the Project Quality plan (in close cooperation with marketing, development, purchasing and industry), at least covering these aspects:
? Targets: Define quality targets for the consumer. Predict the expected quality performance and define action plans accordingly. Regularly update predictions and actions, depending on knowledge gained or changes made to the design.
? Standards: Ensure adherence to mandatory internal and external standards, particularly relating to legal requirements (as defined in standards by MOH, CCC, RoHs, etc.). Organize official approbation
